DCT/PHR is one of the main domestic terminals in north India after the DCT/TKD. Presently we are getting 500-600 loaded containers from various stations and another 500-600 empty containers from other chassis destuffing points like Suranassi, Batala, Govindgarh, Shanewal etc. We supply approx. 1100-1200 empty fit containers to our esteemed customers like Nestle, Birla White Cement Ltd, J.K. White Cement Ltd. and Indian Oil Corp. etc. Our throughput is approximately 30, 000 teu’s annually.

DCT/Phillaur is situated on Ludhiana-Jalandhar highway while the most of the industries are on Ambala-Ludhiana highway so it is in just opposite direction for the customers to bring the cargo to Phillaur for onward dispatch to destination. So due to the proximity to the Delhi he prefers to take his cargo to Delhi or to the destination by road. In this competitive environment also our outward traffic is approx. 40-50 Teu’s per month and we are trying continuously to enhance the outward traffic.

Recently outward movement has started from DCT/PHR to GIM.
