RAIL LINKED COMBINED DOMESTIC AND EXIM TERMINAL

The ICD-BGKT was Commissioned in July 2001. It has a vast hinterland comprising of major part of Rajasthan. The catchments areas are Basni, Bornada, Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Bikaner, Pali, Sojat, Jalor, Nagur, Nokha, and other surrounding areas. It is connected to and from the gateway ports of JNPT/NSICT/GTIL, MDPT, & PPBR. The ICD is located New Power House Road, Opp. BGKT Goods Shed, Bhagat Ki Kothi which is 4 kms in South of main Jodhpur City. The customs bonded area is 11000 sq.mts.

Infrastructure :

1. One Rail Line for handling of train.
2. Transit Warehouse of 940 sq.mts.(Export & Import).
3. Equipment – Container Handling- 01 Reach Stackers, 01 sling cranes, Cargo Handling- 01 fork lift, and 04 trailers.
4. Weighment facilities- Computerized electronic weighbridge of 60 tones capacity for weighment of containers.
